Day Camp is the semi-autobiographical story of a thrown together group of young teens forced to spend their summers together being supervised by slightly older teen leaders at the local San Jose sumer day camp. They all grow and learn together as they come of age during the most awkward periods of adolescence. Whether they are sitting around bored, going on field trips, playing games, camping overnight, fighting, dating or just examining the world around them the results are always hilarious. This is one summer camp you might actually want to attend!

Biography
I'm Michael Balistreri, and I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. Not to say I've always been good, or that I even am now! I do try though. Over the years I've had many artistic inspirations (mostly through cartoons, videogames, music and movies) that have helped me develop the rather unique style that you see today. My style isn't stagnant though, as I'm always experimenting with new things. I'm born and raised in beautiful San Jose, CA, where I still live, with my wife and son. I attended UC Berkeley, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Film. Occasionally I work as I videographer, and currently earn my living as an internet consultant. Whenever I get a chance I love to collaborate with my good friend and excellent writer Alex Siquig. Together we've worked on a wide variety of projects, most prolifically the Black Snow comic book and our relatively new Day Camp comic strip.
